Pelikan M910 Toledo Black-Silver

Damascening (“damasquinado”) is an art form brought by the Arabs from Damascus to Toledo, Spain, where it has been practiced for centuries. An artisan would engrave delicate designs on metal, which would be covered with a thin film of gold or silver, before being heated to around 800°C, turning the steel parts black and the gold or silver parts shiny. 

This technique is featured on the Pelikan M910 Toledo Black-Silver, with an intricately designed sterling silver sleeve. It has a black resin cap, section, and piston knob, and a translucent green ink window. Its trims are also made of sterling silver protected by palladium sheen to complement the barrel.
