Demonstrator pens were initially not available to the public, because they were basically used by manufacturers to demonstrate their inner workings work to customers in shops. As decades went by, however, the term “demonstrator” was used to describe any transparent pen, and unlike their barebone predecessors, these are fully working pens that offer enthusiasts the joy of seeing their own ink levels and how the mechanism works.

One such pen is the Pelikan M800 Green Demonstrator released in 2023, which would probably remind you of the 1992 M800 Transparent Green, but with a few new features. Compared to its double chick, plastic finial predecessor, the oen now carries a brass single chick finial. This pen carries full gold plated hardware, a nice, finishing touch to the playful vibe of its apple-green tint. 

We have for sale a pre-owned Pelikan M800 Green Demonstrator with a B nib. It has minimal micro scratches and some signs of use. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
