When Pelikan first came up with the M600 Art Collection, it was a choice among three poster designs from their archives: one by Rudi Rother (1863-1909), another by Glauco Cambon (1875-1930), and the last by Georg Tronnier (1873-1962). A survey was sent out on social media, and fans picked Glauco Cambon’s work for the first Art Collection release in 2023. In 2025, Rudi Rother’s made the cut.
The M600 Art Collection Rudi Rother took inspiration from his work, lifting the peacock feather-like pattern from the skirt of the woman in his Art Nouveau piece. It was then interpreted on the M600 using the “Aurora” technique, requiring the fountain pen barrel to be made of brass and engraved and guilloched to achieve a holographic effect. The pen is finished with a semi-transparent resin cap, section, and piston knob in green, gold trims, and a two-tone, 14-karat gold nib.
We have for sale a brand new Pelikan M600 Art Collection Rudi Rother (2025) with an M nib. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inserts.
