Rose gold is made from alloying pure gold and copper, resulting in a reddish tinge. Sometimes, a bit of silver is added to create a mellower pink gold. As it is an alloy, it’s more durable than pure gold; however, it’s also more prone to oxidation, which makes proper care important. 

This is the inspiration for the Pelikan M200 Copper Rose Gold, which features trims and a stainless steel nib plated with rose gold. The barrel is made from sparkly coppery-gold resin and comes with an ink window, which many Peli fans will appreciate. A creamy-white cap, section, and piston knob provide a clean contrast, but will require some care to prevent ink staining.
