The Pelikan M1000 perches at the top of the M1000 line, and with good reason: not only does it have great balance despite being a huge pen, but it also has a large, 18K gold nib that gives a buttery-smooth performance. It’s a pen that you’d wish you could write with for the first time all over again. While not a flex nib, it does have a bit of a spring and offers some line variation. It’s so smooth that it’s sensitive to the lightest pressure, making it a joy to work with.
