Nakaya 20th Anniversary Kuro-roiro with Silver Strings Rolled Model

The Nakaya 20th Anniversary Kuro-roiro with Silver Strings Rolled Model is one of two limited edition pens released in 2019. The Kuro-roiro has an ebonite body with a slick black Wajima urushi finish. Silver strings are wound and embedded around sections of the cap and the barrel, ensuring that they lie flat on the surface. The cap’s silver crown is inspired by "Koetsuji-gaki", which is the bamboo fence found in Kyoto’s Koetsuji Temple, and the "Namako-kabe" often found in traditional homes. This rare fountain pen carries a 14-karat, rhodium-plated nib.
