Montblanc Writers Edition Leo Tolstoy 3-Piece Set (FP/RB/MP)

Leo Tolstoy is one of the most celebrated literary greats of the 19th century. His works “War and Peace” and “Anna Karenina” made him a master of realistic fiction. Full of meticulous detail and nuanced observations, his stories were deeply relatable, enabling readers to live vicariously through his characters.

Montblanc honored this literary giant with the Montblanc Writers Edition Leo Tolstoy set (2015), which includes a fountain pen, a rollerball pen, and a mechanical pencil. The instruments take on the design of his beloved estate Yasnaya Polyana, from its silhouette reflecting the entrance pillars to the dark blue-gray resin cap reminiscent of his home office’s theme. The blue marbled areas (on the fountain pen and rollerball pen’s cone, and on the mechanical pencil’s section) were also inspired by his personal space and found on the covers of his works. The fountain pen’s nib is Medium in size and is engraved with Leo Tolstoy’s family crest.
