Honoré de Balzac was a French author known for literary realism and his collection of interconnected novels and stories called “La Comédie Humaine (The Human Comedy)”. He popularly used recurring characters during his short but very prolific 20-year career as a writer, during which he churned out around 95 novels, numerous essays, and hundreds of short stories. While his personal life mostly involved being in debt partly due to his dandy lifestyle, it cannot be denied that he was one most influential European novelists of the 19th century.
In honor of his works, Montblanc released the Writers Edition Honore De Balzac collection, part of which is a rollerball pen. Inspired by the dandy life he lived, the body features deep gray resin guilloché similar to the trouser style of the times. The trims are mostly platinum plated, but the ornate ring near the end of the cap is gold plated, with the design taken from the embellished cane of the author. The cap is also adorned with his engraved signature.
We have for sale a pre-owned Montblanc Edition Honore De Balzac Rollerball Pen. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
