Montblanc Writers Edition Fyodor Dostoevsky

Fyodor Dostoevsky was best known for “Crime and Punishment”, a novel first published in 1866. It followed the mental unravelling of former law student Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov, who lived in poverty in St. Petersburg. His financial issues isolated him from the world, twisting his view of morality and pushing him to justify murder. 

The novel was an immense success and regarded as one of the most important works of the 20th century with its dive into psychoanalysis and existentialism. To honor the author and his masterpiece, Montblanc released the Montblanc Writers Edition Fyodor M. Dostoevsky in 1997. 

The pen is made from Montblanc’s proprietary precious black resin, with a barrel adorned with a Czarist Russia-inspired pattern. A sapphire cabochon is embedded at the end of its simple gold-plated clip, and its domed cap features the novelist’s signature. It comes with a Meisterstück 146 filling system, an ink window, and an 18-karat gold nib.
