Montblanc Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe Ballpoint

Edgar Allan Poe is arguably one of the most popular American writers of the early 1800s. His dark and macabre literature blends vivid imagery with a ballad-like rhythm, giving his poetry a heavy, impending sense of despair that many fans of gothic fiction enjoy to this day. 

Some of Poe’s most popular poems include “The Raven” and “Annabelle Lee”. He also wrote the supernatural story “The Fall of the House of Usher”. 

In celebration of the short yet prolific life of this author, Montblanc released the Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe collection in 1998, which includes a ballpoint pen. Bordered by a black finial, section, and barrel end, the cap and the barrel feature deep blue resin with a smoke-like pattern, evoking the haunting tone of his works.
