Montblanc Writers Edition Alexandre Dumas Ballpoint

Published in 1844, The Three Musketeers is a romantic adventure about swashbuckling musketeers under the reigns of Louis XIII and Louis XIV. Considered the most famous of approximately 250 books by Alexandre Dumas, it is a classic story of friendship, honor, loyalty, and a quest for justice despite a corrupt system that slowly erodes moral integrity. 

In honor of a prolific author whose many works continue to inspire readers today, Montblanc released the Writers Edition Alexandre Dumas set in 1996, which included a ballpoint release. Its barrel is made from marbled brown-and-black precious resin meticulously crafted to create an almost mother-of-pearl-like appearance, polished to a high shine. The author’s signature is featured on one side of the cap.
