Rudyard Kipling was a celebrated author known for "The Jungle Book". He wrote vivid narratives that did away with complicated worlds and syntax, allowing his work to reach a wider audience and remain relatable. While his imperialist themes are considered controversial, they paint a picture of what it was like in then British India, giving researchers much-needed information and context for their studies.
Honoring his contribution to literature, Montblanc released the Writers Edition Rudyard Kipling, a pen with a unique jungle green color from its resin cap to barrel. The platinum-coated clip features the head of a wolf, symbolizing the pack that protected Mowgli as he grew up in “The Jungle Book”. A ring near the finial has a line from his poem “If—” engraved, and the author’s signature adorns the cap. The 18-karat, rhodium-plated gold nib features the globe.
We have for sale a brand new Montblanc Writers Edition Rudyard Kipling (2019) with an M nib. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inserts.
