In the early 1900s, the spider was used as a symbol for writers and poets who spin webs of words. It was also this time that Montblanc released the Rouge et Noir, a pen inspired by Stendhal's novel “Le Rouge et le Noir”, which had its own ink storage, removing the need for an inkwell.
As a homage to this era and the artistic innovations it produced, Montblanc revived the Rouge et Noir’s design and released the Heritage Rouge et Noir Metamorphosis. With a coral body and rose gold trims, it features a uniquely designed clip and a band near the finial intricately engraved with a spider on its web. It comes with a 14-karat rose gold nib etched with a spider.
We have for sale a brand-new Montblanc Rouge et Noir Metamorphosis Coral and Rose Gold fountain pen with an F nib. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inclusions.
Length capped: 13.6 cm.
