Montblanc Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir
₱255,000.00

Pierre-Auguste Renoir was one of the masters who carried the Impressionist movement. Using soft strokes with vibrant colors and incorporating plays of light and shadow, his work moved away from rigid poses, capturing movement and moments of everyday Parisian life. One of his most famous works is Luncheon of the Boating Party (1880-81), which depicts a detailed snapshot of an energetic lunch crowd painted from the balcony of the Maison Fournaise.

Inspired by his famous Impressionist color palette and brushstrokes, Montblanc released the Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Its body is made from olive wood, as Les Collettes’ olive groves often figured in his works during his final years. The barrel has daubs of paint, similar to a mixing palette. The gold-plated, conical barrel end features a soft Ag 925 sterling silver clip to represent a pencil, as a tribute to Renoir’s sketching skills. Trims are gold-plated, including a clip shaped like two paint brushes and a cap ring engraved with “1874”, signifying the birth of Impressionism. The finial is made from ultramarine precious resin and carries the brand’s logo. The pen is finished with an 18-karat gold nib engraved with fans, which were often held by women in his paintings.

We have for sale a brand-new Montblanc Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir fountain pen with an F nib, still in plastic seal. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inclusions.
