Montblanc Masters of Art Homage to Gustav Klimt Limited Edition 4810

Vienna Secession leader Gustav Klimt is the master behind The Kiss and is best known for his evocative portraits of women. His visuals blend Art Nouveau elegance and Byzantine mosaic textures, which beautifully contrast his human subjects. He is also known for using gold leaf techniques, which became part of his signature style. 

Montblanc celebrates his contribution to art with the Masters of Art Limited Edition 4810 Gustav Klimt fountain pen. It features rich blue lacquer (a nod to his 1902 muse, Emilie Flöge) and gold-plated, hammered metal fixtures that recall the artist’s “Golden Phase”. The swirls and geometric patterns are inspired by The Kiss. The design of the clip and the gold nib are both reminiscent of Pallas Athene, a homage to the Greek goddess of wisdom. One side of the barrel features a print of Klimt’s initials, while a synthetic green spinel gemstone at the end of the cone symbolizes new beginnings.
