Montblanc Great Characters Miles Davis Limited Edition 1926

Miles Davis was a trumpeter and composer who innovated modal and cool jazz. He was also at the forefront of fusion, mixing jazz with rock and funk. Known for the “Harmon mute,” he made the trumpet sing while also creating soft, airy notes that showcased a unique audio texture. In honor of his great contribution to jazz music, Montblanc launched the Great Characters Miles Davis Limited Edition fountain pen. Shaped like a trumpet, this release has a platinum-plated body with a barrel indicating Davis’ influence on the evolution of American jazz in the late 1940s. The cap features jazz-inspired engravings with trumpet pistons on the clip. The blue accents are from his album “Kind of Blue,” while the cone takes on the shape of a Heim mouthpiece.
