Johann Strauss II was a prolific Austrian composer who lived in the 1800s. His most famous piece, “An der schönen blauen Donau” or “The Blue Danube,” is one of the most well-loved hymns of the 19th century and continues to be popular today. In fact, you’ve certainly heard it many times as it was used in several movies, including “2001: A Space Odyssey” and “Titanic”.
Aside from “The Blue Danube”, Strauss composed nearly 500 musical pieces in his lifetime, 150 of which were waltzes. Because of this, he earned the moniker “King of Waltz”.
In honor of this timeless music, Montblanc released the Donation Pen Johann Strauss Special Edition in 2015. Its silhouette was inspired by the Leo Bernstein pen, and it features a violin bow as its clip, as the violin was the composer’s instrument of choice. Engraved on the cap ring is the composer’s signature.
We’re offering you a new old stock 2015 Donation Pen Johann Strauss Special Edition with a gold F nib. It comes complete with its box, papers, and all other inclusions.
