Montblanc 162 Burgundy Rollerball

Burgundy has been part of Montblanc’s design heritage since the 1920s, making it one of the Maison’s most recognizable colors alongside its classic black. The Meisterstück LeGrand Burgundy Red brings this historic shade into the collection’s larger rollerball format, combining traditional design with a distinctive, warmer appearance. 

Its cap and barrel are crafted from polished burgundy red precious resin, complemented by signature gold-coated fittings. Three gold-coated rings encircle the cap, with the central ring featuring Montblanc lettering, while the iconic white Montblanc emblem crowns the top. The combination of deep burgundy and gold creates a refined alternative to the traditional black Meisterstück. 

Commonly known as the 162, the LeGrand Rollerball features a larger and more substantial body than the Classique. It uses Montblanc’s dedicated LeGrand rollerball refill, offering a smooth and consistent writing experience while retaining the classic proportions and character of the Meisterstück collection.
