Montblanc 146 Romeo

Shakespeare’s famous character Romeo immediately falls for Juliet the first time he sees her. Representing the complexity of youth’s impulsiveness, devotion, and desperation, his love for Juliet becomes both her independence and her tragedy, leading to the couple’s untimely death. 

Inspired by the garden wherein Romeo hid during the famous balcony scene, the Montblanc 146 Romeo is made of teal-colored precious resin, complemented by platinum-plated trims. The cap is engraved with the rose described in Juliet’s famous line, "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet". The nib is made of Au 750 gold and is etched with a knife piercing a heart bearing Romeo’s name, representing the story’s tragic ending.
