First introduced in the mid-20th century, the Meisterstück 146 became one of Montblanc’s most recognizable fountain pens and remains a staple of the Meisterstück collection today. Known for its larger size and piston-filling mechanism, the 146 has been produced in a variety of finishes over the years, including the less commonly seen burgundy resin variant.
The Montblanc Meisterstück 146 LeGrand Burgundy features deep burgundy precious resin paired with gold-coated trim. While retaining the design elements associated with the Meisterstück line—including its cigar-shaped profile, piston-filling system, and Montblanc emblem—the burgundy resin offers a distinctive alternative to the collection’s traditional black finish. The pen is fitted with a handcrafted 14-karat gold nib.
