Montblanc 145 Le Petit Prince Planet

Asteroid B-612 is the tiny home planet of the Little Prince in Antoine De Saint-Exupéry’s famous novel. This small but volcanic world is vulnerable to the Baobabs, or bad seeds, which, when left to grow, can crush and ruin it. It is also the place where the Little Prince’s beloved Rose lives, whom he tends and protects. 

Inspired by this special place, Montblanc released the Meisterstück 145 Le Petit Prince “Planet” fountain pen, made from the much-coveted burgundy precious resin. It carries a 14-karat gold nib etched with the little prince weeding Baobabs. It has gold-plated trims and a clip with the Prince’s star. Etched on the cap ring near the finial are the words of the Fox: “On ne voit bien qu’avec le coeur” (“One sees clearly only with the heart”).
