Montblanc 145 Around the World in 80 Days Classique Dark Grey

The Montblanc Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection traces the adventures of Jules Verne’s beloved characters, Mr. Fogg and Passepartout, as they circumnavigated the world. Part of the collection is the Classique fountain pen made from anthracite precious resin, giving it a beautiful grayish-black finish. Highlighting the characters’ journey from Bombay to Yokohama is a framed, laser-engraved elephant on the cap. The clip is designed with a lacquered red diamond, symbolizing a game of cards, while the ring near the finial features “80”, the total number of days they went around the world. The golden end of the barrel depicts the jewelry of Princess Aouda, who fell in love with Mr. Fogg. The nib features a hot air balloon and the dates 20/10 and 14/10, which denote the crew’s departure from Bombay and Yokohama.
