Gredanilla, or African Blackwood, is one of the best materials to be used on woodwind instruments such as the clarinet. Native to Tanzania and Mozambique, it takes almost a century for it to fully grow, which is why music companies have been working with conservation organizations to create sustainable systems.
Only a specific part of the African Blackwood is used to make instruments, and to reduce waste, other parts are given new purpose, which includes the barrel of the Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Gredanilla fountain pen. This cartridge-converter pen features platinum-plated metal parts, a spring-loaded clip, and a bi-color, 18-karat gold nib with an iridium tip.
We have for sale a brand new Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Grenadilla fountain pen with an F nib. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inclusions.
Length capped: 13.7 cm.
