This traditional finishing process creates the deep, lustrous surface that gives urushi its characteristic visual depth while allowing the dark blue tone to appear richer as it catches the light. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eGold-tone fittings provide a warm contrast against the deep blue lacquer, while the cap is topped with a gold-tone finial and Pilot’s signature arrow-style clip. The overall design remains restrained, allowing the lacquered ebonite construction to remain the focal point. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCompleting the pen is Pilot’s large No. 15 bicolor nib crafted from 18K gold.
